Gear Up is delivered by a passionate team of staff and volunteers who can help you out with any aspect of your cycling journey.
Greig Mullen
Greig is our Active Travel Engagement Specialist and joined Healthy Valleys in May 2023.
A Lanark local, Greig is passionate about everything to do with bikes and cycling, and will support you on every stage of your cycling journey with Gear Up.
Ali Stanley
Ali joined Healthy Valleys in 2019 as Team Leader for Healthy Valleys Resilient People Project.
As an 'incomer' to Clydesdale she has thoroughly enjoyed the experience of getting to know the local area.
"It's such a beautiful part of the country, I'm delighted to be part of a project that's going to allow more people to get out and about and enjoy Clydesdale, its unique landmarks and history!"
Duncan Brown
Duncan joined Gear Up in August 2023 as an Active Travel Project Worker.
He has been a resident of South Lanarkshire all his life and has made use of the many country parks to keep himself fit and active.
He enjoys a nice long walk with his dog Molly on the many trails to be found in his local area. He also enjoys getting on his bike and setting off wherever the whim takes him.
Heather Jackson
Heather joined Gear Up in 2023 as the Social Enterprise Marketing Worker for the project.
Having lived in rural South Lanarkshire now for a couple of years, she has already explored much of the Clydesdale countryside through active travel.
After a long, scenic walk in her local area, she loves nothing more than curling up in front of the fire with a good book and her two cats.
